About Jim Rudoff, EcoBroker
Buying or selling a home is a convoluted and time consuming process that involves the most important investment of your life. Let me ease your way by explaining what works and how we can make your home or your offer shine.
I'm dedicated to my clients, and depend on your great experiences with me to create referrals. Good folks tend to know good folks, so I know I'll enjoy working with your friends and associates too.
Buyers
I can assist you in determining what type of home will best suit your needs. There are many factors to consider -- location, price, size, neighborhood, schools. What are your "must-haves" versus your desires? How much home can you really afford right now? As a creative and organized thinker, I know what questions to ask, and I can help come up with useful alternatives if your dream home seems out of reach at this time. You would be surprised what a skilled and knowledgeable agent can do to get your offer accepted without increasing the price. I will get you the house that's right for you at the best possible price in San Francisco's unique market.
Additionally, I have more than five years of experience managing income property. I can help you determine if subsidizing your mortgage payments with rental income is right for you, and find the property that fits your lifestyle while providing that helpful income boost.
First-Time Buyers
There's so much to learn! My years of training adults means that I know how to convey information in a way that will make sense to you, and give you the space to learn at your own pace. One of my students says I have "the patience of Gandhi." Additionally, I will help you set goals for your future financial growth so you will see clearly how your first home is also the first step on your personal path to success.
Sellers
With backgrounds in both marketing and technology, I have the skills to effectively market your home and negotiate the best price and offer package to fit your needs. As both a people person and a technologist, I will greet potential buyers with a winning smile, and ensure that your property has the Web-based and print marketing it deserves. In today's market, at least 80% of buyers shop for homes on the Internet. I have the technology know-how to capture those buyers and communicate with them in their language.
I will keep you in the loop by phone, in person as appropriate, and with a weekly status report, either by email or personally delivered to your home or office, as you prefer.
As a Realtor striving for social responsibility and a sustainable future, I help friends, friends of friends, and new friends buy and sell homes in San Francisco. An 18-year San Francisco resident and Bay Area native, I know the ins and outs of our beautiful city. Please let me share my love of San Francisco with you as we work together on your real estate transaction.

Commitment to Excellence and the Environment
I recently completed two designations, GRI and EcoBroker. As an EcoBroker, I help my clients address and resolve environmental questions, as well as saving money through energy and water conservation in their homes.
The GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation indicates that I've taken more than 100 additional hours of training with industry leaders from throughout Northern California. Course topics include home valuation, legal issues, financing, investment property analysis, and in-depth study of real estate contracts.
Personal
When I'm not working or volunteering, I teach and perform fire dancing with the Temple of Poi, and enjoy traveling, SCUBA diving, movie nights with friends, and spending time with my family.
